Titanic lead star Kate Winslet has morphed from actress to lifesaver. She has saved the 90-year-old mother of British business magnate Richard Branson from their burning Caribbean villa.
Branson's $70 million house (we've heard) was struck by lightning brought by a tropical storm and erupted into flames. The Oscar-winning star was among twenty guests who escaped the blaze.
Reports said Winslet helped rescue Branson's mother by carrying her out of the house.
The fire destroyed several things in the property, reports said, but all the guests were safe. Branson has thanked Winslet for her brave act.
