2011 MTV Video Music Awards Live Stream

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will be held on August 28 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA honoring the best music videos from the previous year. This year's nominations revealed the most number of nominations at eleven for Kanye West, followed by Katy Perry at ten and Adele at seven.

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will begin with no host at 9 ET/ 6 PT. It will be aired live on MUCH.

Reports say producers for the show, which will be telecast live Sunday night, say they concluded that they simply did not need a person or persons onstage guiding the proceedings.

“In this particular year, I don’t think you’re going to miss it,” said Dave Sirulnick, an executive vice president for the channel.

Cobra Starship (featuring Sabi) will perform "You Make Me Feel" before the show while Adele, Tony Bennett (tribute to Amy Winehouse), Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, Pitbull (featuring Ne-Yo and Nayer), Young the Giant, and Tribute to Britney Spears are the performers or performances during the main show.
